Human development tries to take shape according to its environment. Bengal has developed a unique culture. It is neither universal nor communal. Its pride circles its surrenderring personality. There lies within the Bengali mind a vision of an empty quarter, unaswered questions fill the vacum of a social system struggling with the prize of hunger and cruelty.
