Alhamdulillah. Wa salatu wa salam alaRasulillahi sallilallhualaihiwasallam.
We fasted for one month solely for His swt satisfaction in order to attain Taqwa, to become al-Muttaqeen. In the last days of blessed Ramadhan it is time to reflect on our inner selves and ask, did we attain our Taqwa?
Allah swt says in the Qur’an:
“When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me.” [2:186]
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim) had said: “Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than du`a.” [Sahih al-Jami` no.5268].
We remember our deceased and seek Allah swt’s forgiveness for all of them. We seek Allah swt’s mercy and forgiveness especially for those martyred in His path, may Allah swt raise them amongst the noblest people in jannah.
We also seek Allah swt’s Help for those muslimeen and muslimaat who are struggling in His path for Tawheed. Those who are being persecuted, oppressed and harmed because they said La ilaha illallah, are nobler than those who prefer praises from this duniya. Pray that Allah swt strengthens the Daees, comforts their families and provides for them from His Treasury, inshaAllah.
In our duas, we must remember to seek Allah swt’s Mercy for all mankind. We invite disbelievers to think about Islam’s message so that they can ponder and insha Allah choose the correct path. Our efforts will be tested against our intentions, so we must be purified from racist tendencies.
We make dua that we become ideal Muttaqeen, by cleansing our minds and hearts from filth and khabaith. We hope we can raise our status in this duniya and in akhira by our humility and submission to Islam. We wish to compete with others, by enjoining al-maruf and forbidding al-munkar. The best amongst us is the one who is best in good deeds, insha Allah.
May Allah swt shower His Mercy on all the muslims all over the world, insha Allah.
Advance Eid Mubarak to all the brothers and sisters. Wa salam.
